- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup diced fresh peaches
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced peaches.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove fritters from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to prevent soggy fritters.
- Fresh peaches can be substituted with canned peaches if necessary.
- For a spicy twist, add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger to the batter.
