  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring frequently, until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme. Push the onions to the side of the skillet and add the chicken breasts, browning them on both sides for about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken and onions, then sprinkle the Gruyere and Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
