- 1.5 pounds flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, and onion powder.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the flank steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is reached.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

- For best results, marinate the steak overnight.
