Ingredients
1 lb sausage, casings removed
1 cup long-grain white rice
2 cups chicken broth
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the sausage and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through.
Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
Stir in the rice, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
