Dark Chocolate Raspberry Pie Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, and salt to form a dough.
  3. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  5. In another bowl, mix dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the baked crust.
  7. Evenly distribute the fresh raspberries on top of the chocolate layer.
  8. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set.
  9. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate chips.
  • Feel free to substitute frozen raspberries if fresh are not available.
  • These bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
