Hearty and comforting soup with creamy parmesan and savory Italian sausage
Ingredients

- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup ditalini pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, brown the sausage over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
- Pour in chicken broth and tomatoes, bring to a simmer.
- Stir in pasta, cook until al dente.
- Pour in cream, add parmesan, season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 5 more minutes, then serve.
Notes
- You can use mild or spicy sausage based on preference.
- For a thicker soup, add more parmesan cheese.
- Leftovers can be thickened with a little more cream.
