- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet, skin-side down.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy, then flip the fillets.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the heavy cream, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, garlic, and lemon juice.
- Pour the cream mixture over the salmon in the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or over rice for a complete meal.
