- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 cups white sauce (prepared or homemade)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of white sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the chicken mixture, a third of the mozzarella, and a layer of white sauce.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, remaining white sauce, and the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
- This lasagna can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
- For a lighter version, use low-fat cheese and sauce.
