Ingredients

- 8 oz pappardelle pasta
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 fennel bulb, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Calabrian chili paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions
- In a skillet, cook sausage until browned, then add fennel, onion, and garlic
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer
- Stir in cream and chili paste
- Toss cooked pasta in the creamy sauce
- Season with salt and pepper
- Serve topped with Parmesan
