Creamy seafood bisque with crab and shrimp
Ingredients

- 1 lb crab meat
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat
- Add onion and garlic, cook until softened
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 min
- Slowly pour in seafood stock, stirring constantly
- Add crab and shrimp, simmer for 15 mins
- Pour in cream, season with salt and pepper
- Simmer for another 10 mins
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley
Notes
- You can add a splash of sherry for extra flavor
- For a thicker bisque, blend a portion of the soup
