- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to form a crumbly mixture.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined. Finally, mix in the sour cream.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- These bars can be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw before serving.
