Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to form a crumbly mixture.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined. Finally, mix in the sour cream.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the cream cheese layer.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added flavor, drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • These bars can be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw before serving.
