Cheesy Ground Beef Quesadillas That Will Delight You!

Description

Delicious cheesy ground beef quesadillas that are easy to make and perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  5. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a separate skillet over medium heat.
  6. Place a tortilla in the skillet, and spread half of the beef and cheese mixture on one half of the tortilla.
  7. Fold the tortilla over to cover the filling and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  9. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to add additional vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms.
  • Serve with salsa or sour cream for dipping.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
