Description
A delectable cheesesteak stuffed inside a garlic loaf, perfect for a comforting meal or snack.

- 1 large loaf of Italian bread
- 1 pound thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and sauté the onions and bell peppers until softened.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Mix in 1 cup of provolone cheese until melted and combined.
- Cut the Italian bread loaf in half lengthwise and hollow out some of the bread from the middle.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining butter with the minced garlic and spread it inside the hollowed-out bread.
- Fill the bread with the cheesesteak mixture and top with remaining provolone cheese.
- Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Can be made ahead and baked before serving.
- Use gluten-free bread for a gluten-free version.
