Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch chips and chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- These blondies can be frozen for up to 3 months; just wrap them well.
