- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/2 cup mozzarella balls, halved
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and garlic.
- Add the cooled pasta to the mixing bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss to combine.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.

- For added flavor, marinate the tomatoes for 30 minutes before mixing.
- This salad can be made a day in advance for flavors to meld.
