Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the buttermilk and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  7. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for a few seconds.
