Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the buttermilk and vanilla extract.
- Pour the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for a few seconds.
- Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- While the biscuits are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm biscuits before serving.
