- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbly.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk, cooking until well combined.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the frozen hash browns evenly.
- Pour the sausage and gravy mixture over the hash browns.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and scatter over the cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
