Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbly.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk, cooking until well combined.
  4. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the frozen hash browns evenly.
  5. Pour the sausage and gravy mixture over the hash browns.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and scatter over the cheese.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
