These flavorful beef kafta kebabs are a staple of Middle Eastern cuisine, made with ground beef, spices, and fresh herbs, perfect for grilling.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
- Shape the mixture into elongated patties around the skewers.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the kebabs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with pita bread, tahini sauce, and fresh vegetables.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the beef mixture for a few hours before grilling.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
- These kebabs can also be baked in the oven at 400°F for about 20 minutes.
