Description

Beef Kafta Kebabs are flavorful Middle Eastern kebabs made with ground beef, spices, and herbs, grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, grated onion, garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion onto a wooden skewer, forming into a long kebab shape.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
  4. Serve hot with rice, salad, and your favorite dips.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or allspice to the beef mixture.
  • These kebabs can also be cooked on a stovetop grill or in the oven.
