Description

Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry is a classic Chinese dish that is quick and easy to make. Tender slices of beef, crisp broccoli, and flavorful sauce come together in this delicious and nutritious stir-fry.


Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cups broccoli florets
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

In a bowl, marinate the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes for 15 minutes.
In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add broccoli and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet. Add the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot over rice or noodles.
