A quick and easy beef and broccoli stir fry that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, beef broth, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, stirring well to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sliced chili peppers.
- Make sure not to overcook the broccoli to maintain its bright color and crunch.
- This dish can be served with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
