Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 (15 oz) cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 (15 oz) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 (15 oz) cans diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  3. Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to the crockpot.
  4. Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
  5. Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your chili!
