- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 slices of deli meat (turkey, ham, or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of mustard
- 1 large potato (for fries)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for the fries.
- Wash and cut the potato into thin strips to make fries.
- In a bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- While the fries are baking, assemble the sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on each slice of bread.
- Layer cheese and deli meat on two slices of bread and top with the other slices.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
- Remove fries from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve on a white plate with fries on the side.
