5 Ingredient Crockpot Mississippi Chicken Made Easy


Description

A simple and flavorful slow-cooked chicken dish featuring just five ingredients that comes together effortlessly in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet of ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet of au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the chicken.
  3. Add the sliced pepperoncini and pour the butter on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce before serving.

Notes

  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or in a sandwich for a complete meal.
  • Adjust the amount of pepperoncini to taste for more or less heat.
